One nose, two houses. Nasomatto came first, Amsterdam, 2007: dense extraits with short names and long shadows, scents that walk into a room as a smell first and a perfume second. Orto Parisi followed in 2015, the same man working without restraint, radiant, animalic and unmistakably human. On skin they read as one signature at two volumes, which is why we cover them as one shelf.
Every decant here is poured from a bottle bought at full retail, never the grey market, drawn to order with lab grade Socorex syringes and sealed the day it ships. With extraits this polarizing, provenance is not a footnote. A 2 ml worn for a few days settles what no review can.

The Nasomatto side
Black Afgano is the cult one. Raw cannabis and davana crack open over a dense heart of tobacco, coffee and oud, logged at 10 to 12 hours with enormous sillage. If you try one Gualtieri in your life, make it this. $20 for 2 ml.
Baraonda is scorched whiskey with a rose steeped in it until flower and burn become one thing, pressed close to the skin by ambroxan and musk. Boozy, romantic, nocturnal, and logged at 8 to 10 hours. $20 for 2 ml.
Narcotic V is white floral absolutism: tuberose and jasmine wound together with lily and a current of spice at full extrait weight. For the wearer who wants flowers with a pulse rather than a bouquet. $20 for 2 ml.
Micodelirio is the strange one, and the quiet one: mushroom, damp earth and oakmoss cut with a green snap of grass and ripe fruit, moderate sillage over 8 to 10 hours. The only Gualtieri here you could wear to a library. $20 for 2 ml.

The Orto Parisi side
Megamare is the open sea turned all the way up: seaweed and calone surging in a cold, iodine laced wave over ambroxan, musk and dry cedar, logged at 10 to 12 hours with enormous sillage. Risvelium is the in-stock way into the house: grapefruit and bergamot fizzing bright, then blackcurrant and pineapple turning lush and feral over warm amber and musk. Fresh on the surface, carnal underneath, and logged at 10 to 12 hours with enormous sillage. $16 for 2 ml, the lowest-priced Gualtieri on this page.
How to start
Begin with a 2 ml of Black Afgano, $20, worn on a day that does not require subtlety: it projects enormously and outlasts the evening. If smoke is not your language, Risvelium at $16 gives you the bright then carnal turn instead, and Micodelirio at $20 is the pick for Gualtieri at conversation volume. Size up to a 5 ml or 10 ml when one becomes the vial you finish, and only then think about a full bottle: $205 for 30 ml on the Nasomatto side, $242 for 50 ml at Orto Parisi.

Nasomatto decants are $20 for 2 ml, $46 for 5 ml and $79 for 10 ml. Orto Parisi runs $16, $37 and $60 for the same sizes. Full bottles are $205 for 30 ml of Nasomatto and $242 for 50 ml of Orto Parisi.
