What Pornstar (Noyau Doux) actually smells like
It smells like sugared tropical fruit over ice that ends as sunscreen on warm skin. Dragon fruit and bubble gum open it, loud and fizzy. A cold, boozy martini thread runs through a green, waxy heart. Then suntan lotion, vanilla and beeswax, soft and close to the skin. It lasts 6 to 8 hours with moderate sillage.
What Noyau Doux means: a soft core, and a martini in the heart
Noyau doux is French (noyau is a kernel or a stone; doux is soft), and we read it as soft core. The double meaning is the point. The perfume is built on the gap between what a camera is pointed at and what is left when it stops: provocation on the outside, something more vulnerable underneath.
The provocation is the name on the label. The vulnerability is the drydown. On its own page the house lists the heart note as Pornstar Martini, names the beeswax Wax Poetic & Sirens' Songs, and calls the heliconia a lobster-claw flower.

The heart is where it stops being candy. A martini-like boozy cool thread runs through the sweetness and keeps it from going cloying. Amaryllis goes green and dewy, the heliconia waxy and rain-wet. The Venus flytrap is the odd one: a snapped green stem with fruit behind it, there to stop all that sugar going flat.
By the drydown it is skin that has already been in the sun: the suntan lotion note is coconut oil on sun-heated skin, then hot sand. Beeswax comes through next, the wax bees secrete to build the comb: honey first, then a candle just blown out, a little hay under it. Vanilla and meringue keep it soft. It stays close and never gets heavy.
Who it is for, and where to wear it
Wear it on a spring evening out, somewhere between a rooftop and a beach bar, if you wear sweetness without apology and want to be noticed leaving the room. Neither the house nor we give it a gender.
Do not expect it to fill a room. Moderate sillage means it reaches the next person and stops there.
