The Story

Neptune's Trident is named for the sea god's weapon rather than the sea itself, which is why it is composed as something sharp and clear instead of a soft marine accord. The saline ambergris drydown is the only part that behaves like water.

Fragrance Character

Citrus and lavender open it clean and bright; green tea, geranium and white florals keep the heart fresh and airy; and vetiver, musk and ambergris give a soft, slightly salty woody base.

Best Worn

Made for spring and summer daylight, casual or formal, when the citrus and green tea stay crisp and the saline ambergris keeps it from reading generic.

The Maison

Argos

Greco Roman opulence: marble, myth and honeyed amber, in decants that let the drama earn its place.

Argos builds fragrances like miniature myths, each one a scene from the old stories rendered in scent. Bright, sun struck openings tumble into something warmer and more decadent, fruit and flowers up top, resins and skin and wood underneath. Wearing one feels less like a note pyramid and more like stepping into a painting.
