Thameen - Rivière

Rivière opens with the metallic heat of saffron sharpened by black pepper, then settles into a core of Turkish rose and carnation anchored by raw leather and the smoky, rootlike depth of cypriol oil.

Fragrance Character

The opening is assertive, saffron and black pepper pushing outward with a dry, spiced warmth before the rose and carnation soften the edges without sweetening them. Sage keeps the heart green and slightly bitter, holding the floral notes honest. On the drydown, leather and cypriol pull everything close to the skin, earthy and resinous, fading with a quietly animalic persistence.

Best Worn

Best suited to the colder half of the year, an evening fragrance for candlelit rooms and dark coats, worn by someone who finds roses most interesting when they carry thorns.
