Office fragrance FAQ

How many sprays for the office? One or two on skin, never on clothing. In an open office one is usually plenty; you want people to notice only when they are close.

Extrait or eau de parfum at work? Extrait means more perfume oil, so it lasts longer and usually pushes harder, not softer. Amouage puts the number in the name: Reflection 45 is 45% perfume oil, Epic 56 is 56%. Use a lighter hand with any extrait, one spray on skin. A lighter eau de parfum is easier to control if you are unsure.

Should I re-spray during the day? Better not to. Most of these hold for hours, and a desk spray is where the "fragrance person" reputation begins.
