Every Creed here is bought at full retail from the house, never the grey market, so what lands in your decant is the real juice and nothing reformulated in the shadows. We pour to order with lab grade Socorex syringes into the real sizes you see below (1ml, 2ml, 5ml and 10ml), each one measured and sealed the day it ships. It means you can live with a scent for a week on your own skin, in your own weather, before you decide whether it is worth the full bottle.

The Creed range

• Absolu Aventus. Aventus turned richer and darker, the famous blackcurrant and pineapple sparkle still up top but the drydown denser and smokier, all patchouli, oakmoss and sandalwood. For anyone who loves Aventus and wants more weight behind it. From $19.
• Green Irish Tweed. The crisp, grassy classic, iris and vervain giving way to violet leaf, then a soft ambergris and sandalwood dry down. Clean and green and effortlessly worn in daylight. From $10.50.
• Royal Oud. A bright, peppery citrus charge of pink pepper and Sicilian bergamot that cools into cedar and resin, the oud worn close and dry rather than thick. Refined and easy to live with. From $10.50.
• Bois du Portugal. The old school gentleman's woody aromatic, citrus and basil over aromatic lavender and warm spice, settling into confident sandalwood, patchouli and vetiver. Formal and timeless. From $10.50.
• Virgin Island Water. Lime splitting open over coconut milk, tart then sweet, drying to a warm skin close musk. A holiday in a bottle, made for heat and bare shoulders. From $10.50.
• Carmina. A plush, modern rose with juicy black cherry and saffron up front, Rose de Mai and violet in the heart, and a soft, faintly smoky base of musk and frankincense. Opulent but polished. From $17.
• Royal Princess Oud. Bruised violet and bergamot brightness pulled steadily inward toward a core of oud, patchouli and styrax, the florals like translucent tissue between the light and the dark. An evening scent with real depth. From $11.20.
• Millésime 1849. A formal floral oriental, architecturally dark and warm, one clean stroke of Calabrian bergamot sinking into ylang ylang and jasmine, then oud, sandalwood and bourbon vanilla. The dressed up end of the range. From $19.
