The Story

Casamorati was a real perfume house in Bologna, founded in 1888 and revived by Xerjoff more than a century later. Lira is Chris Maurice's composition for it and became the release that made the line, a candied citrus and caramel built on the sweetness nineteenth century Italian perfumery was actually known for.

Fragrance Character

Juicy blood orange opens it bright; cinnamon, jasmine and rose warm the heart; and vanilla and caramel give a soft, gourmand drydown over clean musk.

The Maison

Casamorati

A nineteenth century Bologna perfumery, brought back and poured at modern strength.

Casamorati revives a house first opened in Bologna in 1888, and keeps the register it was built on: opera house glamour, powdery florals, warm fruit and soft amber in gilded apothecary bottles. It is the softer, more classical side of the Xerjoff world.
