Adi Ale Van - Diamonitirion Elixir Atonit
Diamonitirion Elixir Atonit smells like a monk's cell on Mount Athos, old books and melting candle wax wrapped in church incense, opoponax, olibanum and myrrh, lifted at the top by lime and cardamom and settling into warm resin, amber and musk.
The Story
Adi Ale Van takes its name from the hermit cells of Mount Athos and builds a fragrance of stillness and devotion: dusty paper, beeswax candles and resinous incense, the air of a place given over entirely to prayer.
The Nose
Composed by Giovanni Festa for Adi Ale Van, also behind Mendittorosa Osang, Perseide and Deceneu.

Fragrance Character
Bright lime and cardamom open it before the heart turns contemplative, old paper, candle wax and a trinity of resins (opoponax, olibanum, myrrh) burning low. The drydown is warm and balsamic, amber and soft musk over raw resin.

Best Worn
Cold-weather and autumn evenings, equally at home formal or casual, a quiet, spiritual scent for lovers of incense and resins.
Why the Diamonitirion Decant
An incense-and-resin character piece, best lived with on skin across an evening before committing.
