Maxime Exler

Maxime Exler is a fine fragrance perfumer at Mane. In March 2024 he was among the Mane perfumers at the opening of the company's first fine fragrance creative centre in China, at K11 in Shanghai's Huangpu district, a studio set up to compose for Chinese and international brands.

For Omanluxury he composed Caden, named after a word meaning companion and built on the Omani custom of welcoming a guest. Cardamom, saffron, cade and a boozy note open onto cistus, suede, benzoin and coffee, then settle on tonka, vanilla, labdanum, guaiac wood and amberwood. In October 2025 Caden was named Niche Fragrance of the Year at the Beautyworld Middle East Awards.
