Musk
One word for two entirely different materials

Since all musk deer came under CITES protection in 1979, the word has almost always meant synthetic musk, families of lab molecules built to carry that warmth without the animal.

Raw deer musk is animalic, urinous and barnyard, turning sweet, warm and radiantly skin-like once diluted to a whisper.
