Guidance 46 is a lavish rose, rose water and rose absolute laced with saffron and jasmine, sweetened by pear, hazelnut and bitter almond, and wrapped in a plush woody-amber base of sandalwood, akigalawood, ambergris and vanilla.

The Story

Amouage's Guidance is opulence with direction, Quentin Bisch builds a creamy, almost gourmand rose of enormous projection, balancing fruit and nut sweetness against saffron's leathery spice and a luxurious wood-amber drydown.

Fragrance Character

Pear and almond give a juicy, marzipan lift to the opening; the heart is a full, saffron-spiced rose with osmanthus and jasmine; and the base is rich and enveloping, creamy sandalwood, ambergris, labdanum and vanilla.
