From Guerlain to Harrods
Roja Dove was born in Sussex in 1956 and spent his pocket money on perfume as a boy. In 1981 he joined Guerlain's training and public relations team and stayed nearly twenty years, becoming the first person outside the family to serve as its global ambassador. He left in 2001, opened his Haute Parfumerie at Harrods in 2004 and founded his own house in London in 2011. In September 2026 Extravaganza Beauty bought the house, and Dove moved into a consulting role.

A chypre for the Ballets Russes
Diaghilev shows the method. Dove made it in 2010 for the Victoria and Albert Museum's exhibition on Diaghilev and the Ballets Russes: a chypre of 33 ingredients with a floral heart of jasmine, tuberose, heliotrope and violet over oakmoss, patchouli, vetiver and leather. The house works only in parfum and eau de parfum, and the range now runs across the Prestige, Elysium, Aoud and Isola collections.

Made in England, set with crystal
The perfumes are made in England. The formulas are vegan and cruelty free, and the ingredients are sustainably sourced. The bottles are set with crystal, and a violet crystal crowns each parfum in the Prestige collection. The house was established in Mayfair and keeps its own boutique in Burlington Arcade, off Piccadilly, with Harrods among its stockists. Audrey Minard, chief executive since 2021, stays in post under the new owner.
