Accessibility

We want everyone to be able to browse and order from Gouttes Rares, including people who use a keyboard, a screen reader, screen magnification or other assistive technology. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA.

What is in place

• Keyboard access, with a skip link to the main content and a visible focus outline.
• Alt text on product and journal images.
• Screen reader labels on the fragrance charts.
• A pause control for moving images.
• Respect for the reduced motion setting on your device.

Known limits

Some parts of the store may not yet work fully with assistive technology: the Shopify checkout, the cookie banner, the review widget and the chat window, which come from third parties, and our animated fragrance guide.
