El Khaldi - Ambergris Myanmar
Cinnamon and leather strike first, sharp and animalic, before Ambergris Myanmar settles into something denser: Burmese oud and Al Hashimi oud pressing through coumarin and wool, anchored by a thick, paste-like ambergris built from macerations, tinctures, and absolutes.
The Story
Ambergris Myanmar belongs to Al Khaldi's Ambergris Shades line, conceived as a reimagining of Ambergris Cambodia in spray format with a deliberately elevated oud concentration. The Burmese oud is the differentiator, sharpening the woody and earthy register that the ambergris base then absorbs and holds.
The Nose
Composed by Maher Elkhaldi.

Fragrance Character
The opening is spiced and leathery, cinnamon cutting through the first wave of projection with real presence. Elderflower and blackcurrant soften the edge at the heart, coumarin and wool lending a muffled, textile warmth. The drydown contracts close to skin, a slow, resinous coalescence of oud and ambergris that lingers without lifting.

Best Worn
Autumn nights and cold formal occasions, worn by someone who prefers weight and permanence over brightness.
Why the Ambergris Myanmar Decant
The layered ambergris base alone, built from multiple macerations and absolutes, makes this worth sampling before committing to a full bottle at artisanal oud pricing.
