Every decant here is poured from a bottle we bought at full retail from the house, never the grey market. We measure each order to size with lab-grade Socorex syringes, offer the real sizes you see on each page (commonly 1ml, 2ml, 5ml and 10ml), and fill, measure, and seal your decant the day it ships. Nothing sits around losing its edge. It is simply a clean, faithful pour of the actual fragrance, so you can try before committing to a full bottle.

• Vibrato. A bright, citrus-lifted opening of grapefruit and bergamot laced with jasmine and magnolia that softens into a powdery, ginger-warmed heart before cedar, patchouli, and orris root pull it dense and skin-close. Composed by Christian Provenzano. From $16.
• Il Padrino. Black currant and rum open with a dark, almost bruised sweetness, amaretto landing like a slow exhale of almond liqueur, then amber and patchouli settle into a resinous core that labdanum and Siam benzoin carry to a warm, balsamic finish. How to start

Begin with a 2ml of whichever pulls at you, the fresh, powdery lift of Vibrato or the dark, boozy warmth of Il Padrino. Wear it a full day before you decide, and if you cannot choose, take both in the smallest size and let your skin settle the question. When one becomes the scent you keep reaching for, size up to a 5ml or 10ml, or move on to the full bottle with no second-guessing.
