Folkwinds smells like the edge of a forest after weather has moved through it. These are the extraits of nose Jono Bornstein, built from real foraged materials and stacked oud registers, and they lean strange and beautiful rather than polite. Expect fermented fruit, cold resins, damp bark, smoke, and orris so dense it feels like a texture instead of a note. This is a house you want to live with on skin before you commit, which is exactly why it is worth sampling first.

Every Folkwinds scent here is bought at full retail directly from the house and never from the grey market, so what reaches you is the real juice. We pour to order with lab-grade Socorex syringes into the sizes you see below, commonly 1ml, 2ml, 5ml and 10ml, and each decant is measured and sealed the day it ships. That way you can try a scent properly, on your own skin and across a full day, before you decide whether it earns a full bottle.
